Watering: Water deeply and consistently, allowing the soil surface to dry slightly between waterings.
Fertilizing: Apply a balanced, slow-release fruit-tree fertilizer in spring and avoid excess nitrogen.
Pruning: Prune during dormancy for structure, airflow and size control; remove water sprouts and suckers.
Fruit thinning: Thin excess fruit in spring to support larger, higher-quality apples.
Pest and disease care: Inspect regularly and maintain good orchard sanitation.
